About Us

At Kingsbridge Cavaliers, we focus on raising happy, healthy Cavaliers. All of our dogs are raised inside our home with plenty of love and snuggles. Located in Readyville, Tennessee we are close to the Nashville metroplex, with easy access to Murfreesboro, Franklin, and other cities in Middle Tennessee.

Our dogs are all AKC (American Kennel Club) registered purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. With AKC champion and grand champion lineage, we are proud to breed beautiful Blenheim and Tricolor Cavaliers.

We will be breeding Blenheims and Tricolors in 2027. Contact us to be added to the notification list.

Puppies come with AKC Limited (Pet) Registration. We do not sell breeding rights with our dogs. Tricolor puppies are $3000. Blenheim puppies are $3500.

Our dogs are world-class experts at snuggles

Our Cavaliers are experts at finding every available opportunity for snuggles. Their professional experience includes playing, napping, and keeping one eye open for snacks (ours love fresh blueberries and carrots). Our dogs' favorite activities include tug-of-war, chew toys, and belly scratches.

Should I get a male or female Cavalier?

Every dog has its own unique personality, but here are a few general gender characteristics of male vs female Cavaliers.

I have never met a Cavalier who doesn't have a super sweet personality that loves cuddles and people! All these traits will appear in every Cavalier, the below traits are just small differences between the genders.

If I had to choose, which would I pick? I would choose a male Cavalier. They are the sweetest combination of all the Cavalier traits that we love so much!

Who is more cuddly? There is an old saying about Cavaliers that "Females love you, but males are in love with you". We have definitely found that to be true. Females tend to love all humans fairly equally, while males will pick their favorite one or two people, although they still love snuggles from everyone. Our male Cavaliers will sit and stare into our eyes with all the love in their hearts on full display!

I already have a dog, what gender should I get? If you have a male already, either a female or male Cavalier would be a great fit. If you have a female, getting a male will be best. Since the female Cavaliers tend to be more dominant than the males, you will have the fewest issues having two males or one male/female pair, than if you have two female dogs.

Will males mark? Marking is driven by hormones that start to develop during puberty. Research shows that neutering male dogs before puberty (6-8 months old) will prevent up to 80% of marking behaviors (read more here). Consult with your vet on the optimal age to neuter your puppy.

Who barks more when visitors arrive? The ladies! Male Cavaliers tend to be much more laid back. It's the female Cavaliers who tend to be the pack leaders and will get the most vocal when visitors arrive. They're just excited for more humans to love though!
